WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
TishaCo is looking to hire high school seniors, college students, and recent college grads who desire to gain experience and build their resume for future career opportunities. Our partnered employers are located in NYC & Long Island. We employ someone who possesses leadership qualities and excellent communication skills. Your current or graduating GPA must be 3.0 or higher, with some exceptions. You also must provide proof of enrollment.(Recent College Grads=within 1 year of application date)
These are short-term projects to gain exposure and experience. You will be placed with an organization aligned with your background and interest. Projects can range from 4 to 36 weeks, with a minimum of 2 hours each day. New York State Department of Labor guidelines will be followed for high school seniors. These projects can also consist of paid internship opportunities. Throughout your assignment, you will receive a personal coach to prepare you for success. You will be taught modified lessons from our My Brand My Challenge program. You are required to dedicate a minimum of 30 minutes per week to the following topics with your coach:
- Understanding your environment and impactful communication.
- Tapping into your visionary mindset and harnessing your innovation.
- Letting your walls down, fostering empathy and building trust.
- Acknowledging and rewarding success.
