Accepting Career Explorer staffing request for January 2021

Do you have work assignments and need an extra set of hands? We are looking for employers to partner with to bring valuable experience to high school seniors, college students & recent grads in their fields. 


Career Explorer projects provide hands-on experience to the workplace. These are short-term projects to gain exposure to potential careers. They will be placed with an organization aligned with their background and interest. Projects can range from 4 to 36 weeks, with a minimum of 2 hours per day. State and local department of labor guidelines will be followed for high school seniors. A four-week assignment is an experience they can place on their resume, and it offers the added advantage of career exploration. These projects can also consist of paid internship opportunities. Our partnered employers are located in NYC & Long Island. We not only hire your career explorer worker, but we stay connected to their progress and growth because we're committed to the student's success. 


We are currently accepting students for the following fields: 


Business | Computers | Construction | Education | Engineering | Forestry Health | Hospitality | Law Enforcement | Management | Media Psychology | Sales | Science | Technology | Transportation 


All positions are $21 per hour (Students will be paid $15 per hour, and TishaCo will receive $6 for program enrollment & service fees.)


Throughout their assignment, they will receive business coaching to prepare them for future success. Students will be taught modified lessons from our My Brand My Challenge program. They will dedicate a minimum of 30 minutes per week with a coach to discuss the following topics:


* Understanding your environment and impactful communication.

* Tapping into your visionary mindset and harnessing your innovation. 

* Letting your walls down, fostering empathy, and building trust.

* Acknowledging and rewarding success.
